Second Life Markets

Eveleigh | Sunday 19 April


Second Life Markets returns to Carriageworks with a full day of vintage, preloved and archival fashion. Expect over 120 curated stalls spanning designer pieces, one-off finds and sustainable labels, alongside DJs and food trucks throughout the day.


It’s one of the biggest gatherings for Sydney’s vintage and fashion community.

Vintage Kilo Sale

Marrickville | Friday 17 April – Sunday 19 April


Australia’s biggest vintage clothing sale returns for a weekend, with over 7,500 kilos of second-hand and vintage pieces up for grabs. Everything is priced at $50 per kilo with no minimum spend, and racks are restocked throughout the day.


Expect a mix of tees, denim, track jackets and dresses, all worth digging for.

Live Portraits at Kinokuniya

Chatswood | Sunday 19 April


Kinokuniya Chatswood is hosting a series of live portrait sessions this week, with an artist sketching custom illustrations in-store. Drawn using a dip pen and deep blue ink, each piece offers a simple, keepsake-style portrait you can take home. Drop in solo or with friends and have your likeness captured while you browse.

Matcha in Bloom Workshop

Green Square | Saturday 18 April & Sunday 19 April


Matcha in Bloom brings together flower styling and matcha for a calm, hands-on workshop at Green Square Library. Expect a guided session creating your own arrangement while sipping matcha and snacking throughout.


There are two styles across the weekend, with all materials included and the option to bring your own bowl.

Free Cocktails at Odd Culture’s Razz Room

Sydney CBD | 17–19 April


Odd Culture Group is opening Razz Room, a new underground bar and discotheque on York Street, drawing on early New York nightlife. Set across two levels, expect after-work drinks and nostalgic bar snacks upstairs, with a sunken dancefloor below hosting late-night entertainment. To celebrate, the first 100 guests each day across opening weekend will score a free daiquiri, frozen or classic.

Sydney Comedy Festival Is Back

Sydney will once again turn into a city-wide stage as the Sydney Comedy Festival rolls through with weeks of live shows and late-night sets. The program stretches across venues from the CBD to the Inner West, spanning everything from sharp stand-up to offbeat sketch and musical acts. A mix of global headliners, local names and emerging comics will take over the lineup as the festival enters its 21st year.

The Market Affair

The Market Affair returns to Penrith for a morning of pre-loved fashion, small business stalls and live music at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre. Expect racks of second-hand pieces spanning everyday finds to designer, alongside pop-ups including tooth gems and local makers. With a separate kids’ market running next door, it’s an easy one to make a morning of in Western Sydney.

Maybe Cocktail Festival

Maybe Sammy hosts the Maybe Cocktail Festival this April, bringing some of the world’s best bars to Sydney for a week of takeovers and events. Expect names from The World’s 50 Best Bars popping up across venues like Dean & Nancy and El Primo Sanchez, alongside panels, parties and long lunches.


Most events are free, making it a rare chance to experience top-tier cocktail talent without leaving the city.

Eveleigh | Every Saturday

Carriageworks Farmers Markets are one of the most iconic markets in Sydney. In addition to seasonal fruits and vegetables, you'll find fresh flowers, artisanal coffee, amazing makers as well as delicious eats for you to enjoy there from AP Bakery or Broomfields. They are undercover so you can enjoy the markets without getting drenched.

The Hooligans at White Rabbit

Chippendale | Until 17 May 2026


White Rabbit’s latest exhibition looks at the idea of “hooliganism” as a label once used to control, punish and silence those who didn’t fit. The works explore resistance, disobedience and the quiet power of people who refused to fall in line. It’s sharp, political and deeply reflective of how art has always pushed back against imposed order.

Glebe Markets

Glebe | Saturday

Glebe Markets is a Sydney institution, known for its mix of vintage fashion, independent designers and handmade finds. You will find everything from jewellery and local labels to one-off pieces worth digging for. Enjoy food from a range of food trucks through to local baked goods, with space to picnic on the lawn alongside other market-goers.
