It’s the Easter edition of Carriageworks Farmers Market, and it’s a good one. Think European-style dyed eggs, creamy cheesecake made with fresh farm egg, and rich made-to-order quiche. Browse hand-painted vegan chocolate eggs and Hot Cross truffles are also in the lineup. Pick up fresh bread and hot cross buns while you’re at it, guaranteed favourite at Easter lunch.

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2025

Sydney Olympic Park | | Friday 11 – Tuesday 22 April


The Sydney Royal Easter Show is back with two weeks of rides, games, food stalls, fireworks and family-friendly chaos. Expect all the classics—show bags, animals, woodchopping and motocross stunts—plus new attractions, entertainment and food to keep things fresh. From VR experiences to haunted houses and carnival eats, it’s still one of Sydney’s biggest annual events.

 

When: Friday 11 – Tuesday 22 April

Loose Lips

Sydney CBD | Saturday 19 April


Natural wine, pizza, and an all-day party, Loose Lips is back for a one-off Easter Saturday session at The Wine Bar, smack in the middle of the city. Expect 100+ wines from 30 producers hand-picked by DRNKS’ Joel Amos, plus woodfired pizza and snacks by Mitch Orr. DJs Ed Loveday and Veda set the tone early, with Levins & Friends taking over upstairs for the free afterparty. $45 gets you unlimited tastings and entry to both levels.

 

When: Saturday 19 April, 2pm – 6pm (afterparty to follow)

Forrester’s Easter (Dog!) Show

Surry Hills | Saturday 19 April


Forrester’s is going all out for the annual Easter Dog Show, think $5 dog beers, $10 pawkies, and a full afternoon of pup-friendly fun. The doggie costume parade runs from 1–2pm with a $50 voucher up for grabs, followed by an Easter treat hunt in Phylli’s Garden. Humans aren’t left out either, with an adults-only egg hunt offering drinks, snacks and prizes hidden around the pub. Doors open from 12pm, costumes encouraged.

Easter at BrewDog

South Eveleigh | Sunday 20 April

 

If you're looking something to do for Easter Sunday, head to BrewDog. There's an egg hunt at 12:30pm, face painting from midday, and a visit from the Easter Bunny between 12 and 3. Kids are sorted, and adults can enjoy Easter cocktails and dessert specials across the weekend. No bookings needed, just swing by.

Fish Friday at the Fish Market's

Pyrmont | Friday 18 April


Sydney Fish Market’s biggest day of the year is back, with 12 hours of non-stop seafood shopping this Good Friday. From 5am to 5pm, stock up on everything from rock oysters to blue swimmer crab for your Easter feast. Over 50,000 visitors are expected, so plan ahead, overflow parking is available nearby. Regular trading continues across the weekend.

 

When: Friday 18 April, 5am–5pm
